It’s gotten a little cooler

The first day of competition at the EBHC is slowly coming to an end. After gathering in the morning, the competitors made their way to the competition courses, accompanied by staff. The competitors came equipped with plenty of water and umbrellas, as the temperature was already above 30 degrees Celsius in the morning. The intense heat is taking a toll on the bows as well. On the first day, two spare bows had to be brought out to the courses. Around noon, a cold front moved in, cooling the hot air and thus easing the competitors’ hardships. Fortunately, aside from a few minor cases of discomfort, there were no health issues.
